For Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), hiring a full container (FCL) can be too expensive if you only have a few pallets of goods. Consolidation (or Groupage) solves this by allowing multiple importers to share one container.
At Acacia and Rock, we manage the entire de-consolidation process. We break bulk at the Container Freight Station (CFS) and ensure you get your specific items quickly, paying only for the volume (CBM) your cargo occupies.
How It Works
1
Shipment & Manifesting
Your goods arrive in a shared container. We ensure the manifest clearly identifies your specific "House Bill of Lading" within the "Master Bill."
2
De-Consolidation (Stripping)
Once at the CFS, the container is opened, and goods are separated (stripped) based on the marks and numbers. We verify against your packing list.
3
Customs Release
We process your specific entry in the iCMS system. Even though it came in a shared container, your tax obligation is calculated only on your goods.
